The course comprises of seminars, talks and experiential groups. On four of the ten weekends the day will extend to 8.30pm so that students and regular staff can take part in a large group.

About Our Foundation Course in Group Analysis
A Foundation Course in Group Analysis is a comprehensive training program designed to introduce participants to the fundamental concepts and skills of group analysis, a therapeutic approach that focuses on understanding group dynamics and the unconscious processes that occur within groups.
Overall, a Foundation Course in Group Analysis provides a comprehensive introduction to the theory and practice of group therapy. It equips participants with a solid foundation in understanding group dynamics. Students will gain the skills to be confident in facilitating group processes, and applying group analysis principles to promote healing, personal growth and well-being in group settings.
This course does not qualify someone as a Group Analyst - rather it gives the participant a strong foundation in group processes. This foundation course is a prerequisite to further training (see link).
80% attendance to the foundation course is required in order to receive our certificate: ‘Foundation Course in Group Analysis’. This course is aligned with - and recognised by, The Institute of Group Analysis.

An exciting one-year in-person course exploring the key components of group analysis through a mix of theory and practice seminars and an intensive experience in a year-long experiential group.

09:15am - 6:30pm comprises seminars, talks and experiential groups.

Orientation Session: Friday 27th September 6:00 - 7:30pm online
During the day we will build in coffee/tea and comfort breaks and a lunch break.
